One of the best things about being human is our emotions. As people, we have been blessed and given the ability to express and experience these strong emotions like love, happiness, joy, etc.But there is also present those emotions that are just as strong but aren’t as positive.  Things such as sadness, depression, and anger.

One of the emotions that is so powerful is anger.  It is so powerful it can be dangerous in some people. It is this problem that we are going to address and find ways to deal with it.  This is coming from my experience dealing with anger through my practice of anger management San Diego.

There a few options in dealing with issues of anger. But what I want to key in on is why we need to address it.Such as the effects of uncontrollable anger.

Well for extreme instances of drastic anger, it can lead to violence a lot of times. Often something like anger in it’s uncontrollable state can cause very violent acts with your loved ones.A person who might be simply wonderful and loving towards their family, can suddenlyl turn violent and angry towards those same loved ones.We all have read or heard of stories regarding crimes of passion.  Most of the time that passion was anger. If you anger seems out of control and sometimes violent, that is the best time to go and find some anger management counseling.

Sometimes even depression can lead to anger management issues and that is when you need to seek depression counseling.

Anger is an emotion you don’t want to leave untreated if it does start to get violent.

Then there is the less violent, but nonetheless harmful anger. Such as getting angry at little things that doesn’t let one think properly. This can hurt relationships.  It could affect jobs.It could hinder your performance with a lot of
tasks.Anger in that instance, can in fact lower your judgement. As we mentioned earlier, it is not as violent, but it is something you still have to address.

By addressing your anger through counseling you can improve your quality of life greatly. You can help improve your job performance, your relationships, and a lot of other things.

Not dealing with it, could lead to many harmful effects. Results that could have been avoided if effective and caring counseling was applied.  I know and have seen it firsthand through my practice as a family therapist San Diego.

Do not allow something as emotional as anger get the best of yourself.  It can be treated and helped.
